    Hello,

What can I say? Blaudzun (aka Johannes Sigmond), is probably the best Dutch act at this moment.

Blaudzun - BlaudzunHe started a solo career as a singer/songwriter in 2006. He signed a record deal at V2 Records Benelux in 2007.
The self-titled debut was released in April 2008.

When recording and live Blaudzun is supported by by his brother Jacob Sigmond
(guitar, lap steel, vocals etc.). The other musicians are Wouter de Waart
(drums), Tom Swart (keys), Franc Thomas Carpenter (bass), Judith van der Klip (violin,
mandolin) and Laurens M. Palsgraaf (trumpet, synth).

On 12 February 2010 his second album
Seadrift Soundmachine was released. In the meantime, his reputation as a live performer
    became huge!.

    Blaudzun - Seadrift SoundmachineThe
album received very positive reviews. According to Dutch blog
Nu.nl it is "a stunning successor
and a definite must-have. And almost impossible to comprehend that he is Dutch."

According to American blog Indiemuse.com: “definitely one of the best releases of 2010.”

In 2011 Blaudzun concentrated on recording a new album. He does only a few live shows.

Blaudzun - Heavy FlowersOn January 6, 2012 the 3rd album ‘Heavy Flowers‘ was released during a show in Utrecht.
